Learn To Navigate The Wheel

The CWC Wheel Of Proportions

A structured way to use the color wheel as a formulating tool, so every tonal decision becomes something you can see and control.

Stylists From Around The World...

They’re mapping their formulations directly on the wheel, across brands, countries, and experience levels. This gives stylists a repeatable way to SEE where their tonal choices will move the remaining color in the hair and know HOW to choose the tonal deposits they need.

Most color education stops here...

At labeling the wheel, teaching neutralization, and handing out formulas for what to use.

But knowing those things isn’t the same as knowing how to navigate color through the wheel. And knowing how to cancel a color isn’t the same as knowing how to build the color you want from what’s already there.

Our Directional Color Mapping System™ teaches you how to use color science and the wheel as a decision-making tool in the hair color formulations you create.

The wheel is no longer just a static reference chart on your wall. It becomes your guide for choosing tones, predicting results, and adjusting your formula BEFORE you apply it to the head.

Learn Directional Color Mapping™ Inside Our Foundations of Color Theory Class.

Directional Color Mapping™ is like being handed a map that helps you navigate toward your color targets.

But if no one has taught you how to read the map, it won’t mean much yet.

That’s what happens when stylists see mapping for the first time. Without some of the color theory education behind it, it can look strange and confusing.

They need some missing context first.

That’s why we teach color theory in phases. You build the understanding you need to read the map, and then the value of mapping becomes VERY clear.

Because once you can read it, the wheel is no longer just showing you colors. It helps you work through where you’re starting, where you’re going, and what you can use in your color line to move the color in that direction.

When mapping clicks, everything changes for you.

Here’s what one of our students shared:

“It’s been a year since I started this journey with you. It wasn’t easy, sometimes it was really hard, but I didn’t give up, I kept going, and now I don’t regret a single second. I’m very happy I took these courses with you, and I thank you so much.

Now I see color differently, and I really love that I can predict the final result with great accuracy. Sometimes I can’t even believe how well my colors turn out.” Sica D.

That's the shift!

Confidence, clearer formulations, understanding why you choose what you choose, and results that are accurate.

The Learning Phases

🌟🌟🌟🌟

Phase 1- The Beginner-Friendly Classes

Get familiar with color, the wheel, the basics of color mixing, and how they connect to the five basic ways we shift tone through the wheel when we formulate hair color.

Phase 2- Color Mixing Training

This is where you start working with color, not just hearing or reading about it. You’ll break down tones, build them, and see how color moves through the wheel as you work through each activity.

And Phase 3- The Foundations of Color Theory

This is where you learn Directional Color Mapping™.

You’ll learn the three dimensions of color in depth, how to decipher the colors in your line, and how to use the wheel like a map to navigate from your starting color toward your target with more accuracy and purpose.

You don’t have to begin at Phase 1. You can jump into the phase that fits you best.
