This Class Is For You If...
This class is for you if you're ready to understand hair color. You want to understand what you have inside each tube. You want to look at the hair and know how to read what's left. You want to be able to predict what'll happen in the hair before you mix that formula and apply it on their head. You want to feel sure.
You'll learn how to see what you've been missing. We break down complex color theory into visual tools and hands on activities so you can actually SEE what's happening. You'll learn to decipher your color line, read remaining pigment, and choose your tonal deposit with purpose.
This isn't a quick one. We're going deep, and deep takes time. Skills need to be built so you can actually use them in repeatable steps. You need movement forward you'll actually SEE and feel.
We'll walk you through some awesome after class practice activities that build those skills one step at a time.
And when you hit that moment when you finally understand why something worked, when you look at a result and can explain exactly what happened, when you formulate and actually know what you're choosing instead of crossing your fingers, or guesstimating, that's when you know, you've GOT IT!!

Join us live via Zoom! We'll walk through color mixing theory, how to decipher what you have in your line and how to successfully choose your tones to get the target color you're after. This is where you start learning how map out your colors on the wheel with our Directional Color Mapping™ system.

🌸 Day 1 - Building Your Color Map (On-Demand, Instant Access ~ 3.5 hrs)
Learn what color really is: how you see it, and what you're actually mixing when you formulate
Learn to decipher your own color line to see what's actually inside each tube
Learn how to chart your tones on the wheel where they live
Learn where natural hair lives on the wheel
Identify whether your tones use brown or grey background, and the ratio of each
Finish Day 1 by beginning to create your personal Color Map with the line you use.
📺 Day 2 - Using Your Color Map (Live Class Day ~ 4 hrs)
Learn science-based color mixing theory, step by step
Learn how to mix color with background so you get consistent results
Learn how to work in ratios, levels, and parts on your wheel before ever touching the hair
Use the Directional Color Mapping System™ to see and predict how your colors will mix
Troubleshoot real formulations and leave learning how to make your tonal choices

I can truly say I walked away from this with more color knowledge and understanding of color theory. I know now what I'm really working with and how to use the tools I have and just understanding how what is in the tube works with the hair's pigment. There's a lot of bricks to color theory, but understanding better how the bricks come together to get a beautiful final result fills in the gaps. Everything about this class was sooooo good.
