Is Foundations The Right Class For You?

Foundations is for stylists who already have a starting foundation with natural levels, remaining pigment, tone families, basic wheel relationships, and the 5 Basic Ways color can move through the wheel.

If you're ready to learn how to apply that knowledge when choosing your tones, navigating the wheel, deciphering your color line, and working toward hitting your color targets more predictably, then Foundations is for you.

You don’t need to feel advanced to be here.

You do need to be ready to slow down, learn the process, and practice seeing color in a more predictable way.

Not there yet? No Worries!

We Built This Class For How People Learn

Class day is content day, filled with activities and small group learning to help you capture the concepts you'll need. Even after a full class day, to truly learn, you'll need MORE...

What Happens AFTER Class Day?

After class is when the skill building support begins! You need time, guided practice, and feedback in order to build the skills to play the formulating game.

We've set up after-class support to help you walk the journey there.

The AFTER class support:

7-Day Replay Access - Revisit both class days (Day 1 + Day 2) so you have more time to process the information.

Workbook - Your workbook becomes your future reference guide so you don't forget the concepts.

⭐ The CWC Directional Color Mapping™ After Class Activities - This is where the real skill building begins. You'll work through guided activities with tutorials and instructions that build your skills one step at a time. Each activity you do earns you a badge that shows you exactly where you're growing. You'll see AND feel the progress as you move along. The more activities you try, the more skills you get to develop. The kind that shows up in your every day work behind the chair.

CWC Community Support - Access to our private CWC Community. This is where you'll get feedback on those activities, where you can ask your after class questions, and work with a supportive group of stylists on the very same journey you're on.

You'll be joining stylists from all over the world, using all different color lines, who are ready to change life for themselves behind the chair and encourage YOU as you walk through that journey too!

Getting exposed to content in class isn't enough. You'll need to grow your confidence and ability to implement what you learn. THIS is how we'll help guide you there!

Day 1: (On Demand) Day 2: (LIVE On Zoom) June 15th, 1:00-5:00 pm EST

This class gives you the system, the language, and the visual tools to stop second guessing and start formulating with purpose, no matter where you're from, or what brand you use.

What They're Saying

“Yes, it was a Zoom class, but so informative and engaging we hardly felt like we were on Zoom! We dug into color theory, learned new ways to formulate, and stayed active the whole time.”

Gina S.

Thank you so much for the amazing class!! I wish I would have been taught this years ago. Makes so much sense!! Definitely the missing piece I've been searching for.

Thank you so much for the amazing class!! I wish I would have been taught this years ago. Makes so much sense!! Definitely the missing piece I've been searching for. I've heard a lot of this before but the way you explain it makes sense in my brain. I'm an educator for a color company and I could never quite find the words to explain the why when teaching color conversions. Doing the swatches and seeing everyone else's was so eye opening. Makes so much sense why stylists struggle when switching brands! Excited to join the CWC Community and will definitely be taking the next class.

I can honestly say I performed my best color in my 17 years as a hair dresser.

I've been swatching my colors like a maniac. Tonight I cut 10 inches off my client's hair. While her highlights were processing, I swatched her hair that I had cit off so when it was time to color/tone I was totally prepared and I can honestly say I performed my best color in my 17 years as a hairdresser. Thanks for helping me build a stronger foundation. It's totally paying off!

Everything about this class was sooooo good. The information was presented well, with being able to ask questions during the class.

Thank you so much for this class. I feel like I have added tools to my color tool belt. Thank you so much! I can truly say I walked away from this with more color knowledge and understanding of color theory. I know now what I'm really working with and how to use the tools I have and just understanding how what is in the tube works with the hair's pigment. There's a lot of bricks to color theory, but understanding better how the bricks come together to get a beautiful final result fills in the gaps. Everything about this class was sooooo good. The information was presented well, with being able to ask questions during the class. The base color in the tube is soooo helpful for formulating and the idea of swatching to have a visual of what's in the tube is so useful. Thank you again for this class.
